strange mutated sea animal

The nuclear explosion that happened in Japan and spread across the world happened a long time ago. Many animals got born differently, humans got born differently and almost everything got born differently because of the nuclear explosion. But one day some scuba divers while they were exploring the depths of the oceans found a blue creature that was also mutated when the nuclear explosion spread. It was a sea animal with blue skin, four legs and four tentacles on each leg (or mabye even more). Also the creature had some marks on its back and had two small eyes and one big shaped like a nose in the middle. When the scuba divers brought it to the shore, the creature just froze for a while. Then it slowly moved its head around to see where it is. Then the creature looked at one of the scuba divers and made a slow blink. The scuba divers took a picture of it and it looks like this:


Strange isnt it? People say it is a sea slug but it isnt. Nobody knows what this thing is but it creeps people out, just like the first picture on the left. It is indeed a beautiful creature and I like it too. Can you guess what this mutated creature is that got caught in the nuclear explosion?

Trees and soil, our only hope. For generations we humans have been treating it properly. Until one day we brought in our machines and began to destroy our only hope: the trees. The reason why we began doing this is because we needed some new things for everyone. Now some people are trying to stop this but everyone thinks this will go on and on. The kind of problems that are affecting trees are not only disseases but also what us humans do to the trees. Humans cut down 25 million trees every year and over 5000 products are made from trees like tables, chairs, desks, houses, toys, pencils and other. Trees help our soil remain healthy because they reduce soil erosions, Food-type trees give us food and most importantly, they give us oxygen so that we would live and breath. Trees are our only big hope (including soil) for us humans but we are destroying it. So how can we stop this? Is there a way? Because the truth is that there is always a way. Anyway, trees can also drop seeds so that there would me more trees. But the problem is that the seeds grow very slow and chopping down a tree takes less that 20 seconds! But trees have also doctors; the woodpeckers! they drill into the trees and find green slugs inside that are hurting the trees. How much disseases are there in the world? There are some like Sycamore anthracnose,

Ash anthracnose, Maple anthracnose and other. People are trying their best to protect the trees so that we would have oxygen, food and shade. But the workers are fighting so they need, tables, chairs, penciles, paper, shelfs and other. aaaaso how can we solve this war? Is there or is there not a way?

 

So in conclusion: I have this to say: Cut those trees down! If you want everyone to die! I dont care! But I care about trees!

Mold experiment

I started my mold experiment by cutting 2 oranges in half. Then I put them both in jars but filled one with water. After that, I left both jars alone. When I came back 2 days later, Both oranges were still the same as before. Exept the orange in the wateer made sludge. So I made my observations and left the classroom again. The next 2 day later when I came back, the orange in the water was still normal but the other one began to mold. It had 1/4 of green mold on itself. So I wrote down the observations and left again. Again the next 2 days when I returned, the orange in the water was still the same but made the water yellow and sludge. The other one began molding really fast. The mold almost covered the entire orange. I made the observations and left. The final 2 days later the orange in the water was still normal exept the water. The other orange was absolutely covered with mold. That was the final day when I made my final observations. So in conclusion, water proects the orange from molding but whatever you do, DO NOT SMELL IT!!!

Is world peace possible?

People are asking if world peace is possible. I dont think it is because some enemies killed someones family member or did something else that they would never forget. In the future, There will be no peace. This will keep on going forever, mabey. Just like Hitler invade and killed tons of people and even though he is dead, nobody wil forget him or the people that were on his side, This is a very hard war thats going on. Its just like the war between trees and wood chopers. I am not realy into this because I dont really like endless wars. But I always say 1 thing: a endless war always comes to an end.

The kinds of problems that are affecting the trees are not only diseases but also humans. The humans use chainsaws or other giant machines to cut down either big or small trees. They do that to make paper, pencils, tables, houses, ECT. I have the feeling that nobody can solve this problem because If we wouldn’t cut down trees, we wouldn’t have tables, pencils, desks, chairs, ect. But not only that; if all the trees would be cut down, we wouldn’t have any oxygen left and humans+the earth would die; everyone would die. So this is a very big battle that can continue on forever. And If people would be distracted in the big war or not do anything about it, Then this would be the end to the human race. Are there any laws or actions that are helping to solve the problem? Well, so far not yet but already have to do something because I want this to end! What kinds of factors are standing in the way of solving these issues?
I think the people that cut down trees because they say that they need pencils, paper, tables and other stuff. I don’t think this is going too well.

So in conclusion, nobody can decide if to cut or not to cut down trees. Sometimes people say when a war begins, it might never end. And I kind of agree with that because if we would cut down trees, we wouldn’t have pencils, tables, chairs, shelves and also toilet paper! But then if we would keep on continue doing this, we would be losing oxygen 1 by 1 and people would start dying. And the first ones would be the old people because some have trouble breathing. Almost all the people in the world agree that this war is never and ever going to end. So we will keep gaining paper and keep losing oxygen. That would be like for example wood: 70%, 80%, and 90% and for trees: 60%, 50%, 40% and so on and so forth. But I have an idea! Instead of cutting down trees, why not make the same stuff but out of stone? I mean it’s the same thing right? Maybe it is, maybe its not. Because if we would have toilet paper out of stone, we would be leaving the bathroom with bleeding butts. So I guess its not a really good idea. Well, that the end, so bye bye.

Trees are important!

To me, trees are important. Not only they give us 90% of oxygen but they also contai water wich they discharge in the air a day and they spread soil erosions. So that means that even though there would be no soil, trees would spread soil erosion. Sometimes tree get sick, get cut down, ect. But when they are sick or they are about to get sick, they have helpers: the woodpeckers. The woodpeckers are the doctors to the trees because they cure them by taking out all the worms from the trees. And how do soils get sick? I have no idea. So what do you think? Are trees more important that soil? You decide.

Hurricane sandy fake pictures

After the Huricane sandy was over and everyone came out of the houses, some people posted pictures of the disasters the hurricane has caused like damaged cars, destroyed houses, floods and ect on many websites to show people what happened. But some people reported that all those pictures were actually FAKE! People reported that they noticed that people photo shopped those picture to make people belive. When I saw some of the pictures, I didnt notice anything and I thought that nobody didnt photocopied the pictures. Here are some of the pictures that are photocopied but I cant tell that they are really photo copied:























If you people find anything fake in these pictures, then tell me please because I want to know also!!!!


 

Dirt
Dirt is not only a disgusting brown thing, It has fungi, bacteria and other things in it. It is also said that dirt is more alvie then humans. Another thing is that if nobody would take car of the soil, then our planet would die. There are also myths. Egypt people think god made people out of dirt and Jewish, Christian and others belive that god made people by blowing the breath of life on the dirt and made Adam and Eve. And about if nobody would care about dirt just like I tolled you, some people today are destroying dirt with the wrong materials. There is this toxic that could kill insects and plants. And if that would happen, we would be next. Every year, a million trees are turned into 2 billion male order catalogs. And farmers that loose farms and their soils, they kill themselfs; and 5,000 farmers suicided themselfs.

Reaserchers discovered what vampire squids eat: Its not what you think it is.

 2 marine biologists Henk-jan Hoving and Bruce robinson were researching on the vampire squids They were reaserching in Holland on sep.26.2012. They have been reasearching on what do these vampire squids really eat. The way that they were reaserching about the vampire squids that they used ROV's (forgot what that means). But those are some sort of vehicles that go all the way down to the bottom and are radio controled. But an interesting thing about vampire squids is that they are called Vampyroteuthisinfernalis which means that Vampire squids are animals from hell. And that is true because vampire squids live more deeper than anglefishes. And also they look really scary.  So here is a picture of one:

Invertebrates!!!!

First of all, what are invertebrates? Invertebrates are animals that don’t have any backbones but they can move without them. The food that invertebrates eat are vegetables but also other invertebrates. How do they move?Invertebrates have a hard shell called exoskeleton. Muscles are attached to it and help the invertebrates move. The way invertebrates reproduce is that they lay eggs. But how do they lay eggs? Is it sexually or asexually? Or both?  And finally, how do they symmetry? Well, the invertebrates move with many different ways. Like jellyfish, they glide or swim my using their muscles. And butterflies use their wings to fly. Every invertebrate in this world moves in its own way. And invertebrates are all over the world!   

The Platypus by Richard Koys 7A


The patypus is a mixed animal of a duck, beaver and a otter and is an Australian animal. The platypus is found in the Indian ocean and its range covers almost the entire area! The Platapus is a mammal, its diet is Carnivore and its size is relative to a 6-ft (2 m) man. But they are also dangerous because they have poisonus stingers near their rear feet. But only male platypuses have that. The platypuses go hunting underwater, are experts at swiming, escape dangers faster by using its beaver tail and can dive quickly when floating above the water. When on land, the platypuses move very akwardly (clumsy) and dont run too fast. The female platypuses hide inside any burrow chamber and hide there to lay their eggs. The eggs hatch in about ten days but when the babies come out, they are the size of lima beans and are totally helpless. Luckly, their mothers nurses them and helps them to swim and hunt for about 3 or 4 months. And finally, the parents leave them until they know how to swim and hunt on their own.

Human fossiles hint at new spieces

Some scientists have discovered new bones and skulls in mountains in Canada. But these bones and skulls were different than the other old ones because these ones were actually new! When scientists studied them,  they said that those bones were a part of a new spiece. The new spieces were called the red deer cave man, They died over 11,500 or 14,500 years ago. The legends say that the red deer cave men had red skin and their skull bones had some parts mixed up, and they acted like wild animals but were good at hunting. They had the skills of a squirrel, speed of a deer and strenght of a bear. And they were much smarter than the original cave men! They build some houses out of wood but when they had a hard time doing that, they just lived in caves. As the scientists kept on searching the bones, they found many cool stuff: The bones were 6 feet wide, their skulls weigh ten times heavier than ours and their legs were stronger than the kangaroo bones! The scientists will be on live but I dont know when. But it is very interesting!

My thoughts about this was that this realy interested me and I wish if I would see one red deer caveman in real life! But sadly, you cant go to the past. I wonder if there are pictures on google because that would be good.

Life on Venus?

Venus, the second planet in our solar system. But did you think that there is life on Venus? Some say there is and some say there isnt. There can also be life on planet Mars. But lets talk about Venus. Did you know Venus is big same as Earth? Its true and Venus hase water, canyons, mountains and some say also volcanos! And its preasure is 92 times greater than the earths. But without water and the volcanoes that are 894 hot, Venus would not survive and it would explode and never be heard of ever again. But when scientists deployed a space cartinto space to explore Venus, The camera has spotted a moving thing jumping away. The camera took the picture but it was smudged. And the space cart could not follow it because that moving living thing was very fast and the cart was very slow to catch up. When the scientists posted the picture in the newspapers, people didnt belive them because they thought it was photoshop made. One day, the scientists said:" We knew it would be futile that we would get the picture of the living thing on Venus but we will next time catch it, bring it and show it to you. And we promise that we will not come back after we will catch that thing that is telling us that there is life on Venus!"
